The formal mentor program is designed to complement, rather than replace, the many informal mentoring relationships which naturally develop for most junior lawyers. Lawyers participating in this program are encouraged to have significant contact with one another through day-to-day interactions at work and through social and professional activities.

We are now delivering the Mentoring Programme digitally, with training events, celebrations and mentor meet-ups happening over Zoom, and 1:1 mentoring meetings also being carried out over video call. Mentors are supported to adapt their mentoring style for the digital space, whilst mentees are provided with the necessary tech and connectivity to ensure that meetings can happen online.

Business Mentoring Your Mentor will work closely with you to help meet your business objectives, largely through advice and guidance, based on your mentor’s experience, expertise and insights.

We recognise that the development of trusted, supportive relationships is the key to success in the Lloyd’s Market; the Mentoring Programme will give participants the opportunity to develop a wide network of relationships, enhance skills and build careers. Your commitment. The Mentoring Programme will commence in May 2019 through to January 2020.

Your Mentor will work closely with you to help meet your business objectives, largely through advice and guidance, based on your mentor’s experience, expertise and insights. The London Met career mentoring programme matches current students with professional mentors. Our mentors come from a range of subject disciplines and have over three years professional experience in their sector.
